Stevens County Hospital Departments and Board Members
CEO - Our Chief Executive Officer is Jennifer Featherston. She manages all hospital departments and services in accordance with the objectives and goals of the Board of Directors.
CFO - Our Chief Financial Officer is Dave Piper. He supervises all budgeting and preparation of financial statements, ensuring hospital resources are allocated with integrity.
CHRO – Our CHRO is Diane Mangels. She is responsible for all staffing of our facilities. Providing functional employee work spaces and maintaining all facilities is also a priority for this position.
Business Office - Our skilled office staff manages billing and insurance payments. Inpatient and outpatient registration is handled through the business office. Office hours are 7:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Case Management - A patient's plan of care is coordinated between the patient, the physician, and the various hospital services the patient uses for their treatment. This work is done by an RN case manager and a social services designee. They ensure patients receive high-quality care and that communication between the patient, physician, and hospital is seamless.
Health Information Management - Patient records are confidential and are protected with the utmost security. Our staff ensures each record meets licensing and accrediting requirements to keep it safe and to transfer or copy it when necessary. This is done through coding for classification and reimbursement according to payment structure.
Human Resources - Employee benefits, including retirement accounts, insurance benefits, and general personnel policy, are managed by the human resources department. Additionally, the office coordinates employment openings. This department is also responsible for employee payroll, as well as employee education and employee health.
Facilities - The heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical services of our facilities run smoothly thanks to our maintenance staff, who work 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure safe, fast, effective, and comfortable operation of our hospital. Our housekeeping staff maintains high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital and clinic, nursing home, physical therapy, and pharmacy buildings, to ensure a healthy, welcoming, and well-kept facility. The SCH Laundry department does facility laundry for all buildings as well as resident clothing at Pioneer Manor. The IT department keeps our technology up to date and ensures our computers, telephones, and resident/patient televisions are always functional in all SCH facilities.
Materials Management - Purchasing, stocking, and distribution of supplies for the hospital and clinic are handled through this department.

Volunteers - The Women’s Auxiliary volunteers help us provide high-quality care. They perform numerous services for our facility, as well as for our community through their scholarship program. The Women’s Auxiliary President is Judy Persinger. Please contact her or the front desk if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.
Gift Shop - Women's Auxiliary volunteers maintain and staff our gift shop, which can be found by the hospital's main entrance. Gift shop hours are from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Tuesday through Thursday.
