Laboratory Director

Laboratory Director needed for Stevens County Healthcare, located in Hugoton, KS. Manages all aspects of the clinical laboratory, including supervision of laboratory personnel, hiring of staff, creation of work schedules, and conducting performance reviews. Applicant must have ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification at time of hire; 2 years of supervising laboratory personnel or medical technology interns; 2 years supervising clinical laboratory testing; 2 years of experience in updating laboratory procedure manuals; 2 years of experience performing clinical testing in hematology, clinical microscopy, immunology, and chemistry; and 2 years of experience with maintaining State and Federal requirements and standards for medical laboratories. Must have 2 years of experience in the job offered or in related senior medical technologist/supervisory positions in a medical laboratory. Medical Technologist needed for Stevens County Healthcare, located in Hugoton, KS. Applies techniques used in fields of Bacteriology, Blood Bank, Chemistry and Urinalysis, Hematology and Coagulation, and Serology.
